Fool for the City was the fifth album released by English rock band Foghat, released in 1975. This was Foghat's first platinum album, and features their most famous song "Slow Ride". The album cover photo was taken outside the band's office at 232 East 11th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in New York City. When "Slow Ride" appears on compilation albums, it is typically featured as a four-minute radio edit version. Some compilations also use an edited version of the title track, trimming much of the middle section.
